    Agenda includes:
    1.    Review basics of FMLA
    2.    Review and analyze recent case law regarding employer’s “honest belief” of FMLA abuse defense; and,
    3.    Understand possible actions for minimizing FMLA abuse.

    Steve's Bio:  I am an Attorney with Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia since 2005. Prior to my law career, I worked in management in the textile industry, working in various capacities and with individuals from the shop floor to the boardroom. I have "walked the walk" of managers who I now assist with human resources problems and believe I bring a wealth of practical experience to my legal practice.

    Specialties:  Litigation, advice, and counseling of management in all aspects of employment law.


    This program has been approved for SHRM credits, and is still pending HRCI credits.
