This presentation will give an update on local school initiatives, with particular emphasis on the March 21st Special Election on the proposed $98MM ESPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) which would benefit Whitfield County Schools and Dalton Public Schools. Additional Initiatives affecting local businesses and ways in which businesses can assist and benefit will be discussed.
SHRM recertification approved and HRCI recertification credit pending
Presenters will include Dr. Jim Hawkins, Superintendent of Dalton Public Schools; Dr. Rick Fromm, Chair of Dalton Board of Education; and Mr. Mike Maret, President of the Dalton Education Foundation.
