    As we all know, recruiting can be an uphill struggle. With the labor market tightening, the competition for talent is getting ever more heated. Therefore, the traditional methods of finding talent have some competition of their own.
     
    Dr. David L. Williams, Assistant Professor of Marketing at Dalton State, will be discussing the use of Social Media in modern talent recruitment. Also, Dr. Williams will cover some ‘Best Practices’ for using Social Media to target and attract employees in all stages of the recruitment process. This will be followed by a Q&A session, which will give Dr. Williams a chance to answer your burning Social Media questions.
     
    Dr. Williams is a prominent figure in the Wright School of Business at Dalton State. Dr. Williams has a passion for Social Media and understands its influence on modern society. The Social Media movement is in full flow. This meeting will provide HR professionals with a better understanding of the tools and applications of social media, particularly for recruiting and hiring.

    Lunch is from 11:30-noon and the program is from noon-1PM.
